Your quarter goes to the fiduciary in one click

Every quarter, the same evening: hunting invoices, sorting receipts, adding it all up again. Bilto keeps that file current while you invoice.

  • CSV for invoices and expenses
  • VAT broken down by rate
  • Any period you choose

Today

  • The night before the meeting, you hunt the quarter's invoices in three places.
  • The expense receipts are in the glovebox, when they are still there.
  • Your fiduciary retypes everything by hand, and bills you for that time.

With Bilto

  • You pick the period, the current quarter by default.
  • The invoice CSV, the expense CSV and the VAT statement assemble in one click.
  • Your fiduciary imports the file instead of retyping it.

How it works

  1. You pick the period to export, the current quarter by default.

  2. Bilto assembles the invoice CSV, the expense CSV and the VAT statement by rate: 8.1, 2.6 and 3.8 percent.

  3. You send the file to your fiduciary, from the web or from your phone.

One evening per quarter, given back

The VAT statement comes around four times a year, and it almost always costs an evening. Here the file already exists: every invoice you issue and every expense you photograph feed it as you work. What is left of the evening is pressing send.

What does your fiduciary get?

Three files, one per tab. The columns are those of the exported CSV.

Number, client, date, amount, rate, VAT, total

One line per invoice in the periodReadable by Excel and any accounting software

Date, supplier, amount, VAT, receipt

One line per photographed expenseReceipts finally leave the glovebox

The period's revenue split by rate

8.1%, 2.6% and 3.8%, one line eachThe calculation base, ready for the fiduciary

Broken down by rate, the way fiduciaries ask for it

The statement splits your revenue across the three rates in force: 8.1% for almost all building work, 2.6% and 3.8% for the special cases. Until now someone did that sorting by hand. Not anymore.

A bookkeeping aid, not an official filing

Bilto prepares the figures, it files nothing: the official statement stays with you or your fiduciary. That is deliberate. The file saves you the evening; responsibility for the filing does not move.

From the office or the job site

The export lives on the web and in the app: the fiduciary who calls on a Thursday morning does not wait for you to get back to the office. Pick the period, send, done.

Does Bilto file my VAT return?

No, and that is not an oversight. Bilto prepares the statement, revenue by rate and the matching VAT; the return itself is filed with the Federal Tax Administration, by you or your fiduciary. A bookkeeping aid, not an automatic filing.

What format is the export?

CSV, the format everyone reads: Excel, and the software fiduciaries use. No proprietary format, nothing to install.

What period can I export?

Any. The current quarter is suggested by default, because that is the rhythm of the VAT statement, but a month, a year or free dates work just as well.
