The photo replaces the typing

A yard receipt typed by hand takes two minutes and has a one-in-three chance of being put off until tomorrow. The photo takes three seconds, while the receipt is still in your hand.

Records stay filed for ten years

Article 958f of the Code of Obligations requires ten years of retention. Photographed and filed as you go, they are findable, which is exactly what an audit asks for.

How many quotes sent, how many accepted. That is the other figure that decides the year: someone who wins everything has a different problem from someone who wins one in three.

Does this replace my accounts?

No. Bilto tells you where you stand during the year; your accountant does the books. They do not serve the same moment, and the export gives them what they need.

What if the photo is blurry or the receipt creased?

You correct the amount by hand and the document stays attached. An amount entered with its record beats a record that is lost.

Can I see the result per job?

Expenses attach to a job when you take the photo. The balance then reads per job, on top of the monthly balance.
