What an app has that a browser does not

A microphone, a camera and a copy of your files on the phone. Those three things are what let you dictate a quote in front of the client, photograph an invoice before it disappears, and open a file in a basement. A browser tab has none of them, and that is the only reason to install anything at all.

The same account, both screens

There is no mobile version and no desktop version, there is one Bilto. The quote dictated on site opens on the computer, gets corrected with a keyboard if you prefer, and goes out from there. Nothing to re-import, nothing to sync by hand.

With no signal, the app carries on

Your quotes, invoices and client files stay readable offline, and drafts are prepared on the spot. Sending waits for signal: a quote does not leave from a basement, it leaves the moment the phone breathes again. Saying so plainly avoids bad surprises.

What your client receives does not change

From the phone as from the office, the document comes out with the Swiss-standard QR-bill, structured addresses and your client's language. A quote made with a thumb on a job site does not look like a quote made with a thumb on a job site.

Is the app included in the subscription?

Yes, on all three plans. It is not a separately billed option: it is the same account and the same data, on another screen.

Do I need the app to use Bilto?

No. Everything works from a browser too, on a computer as on a phone. The app adds the microphone, the camera and offline use — for the rest, both do the same.

Does my data go through a foreign server?

No. From the app as from the web, your quotes, your clients and the dictation stay on Infomaniak's Swiss infrastructure.
